Court Marriage in India has its common procedure, which has to be followed by each couple.
If a marriage isn’t registered with any court registrar then the wedding won’t be consider valid throughout legal procedures like, applying for a joint home loan, Visa. You could even be penalized for not registering your wedding. It is a rule that all the marriages need to be registered whether you’re having a marriage ceremony or not.
A marriage certificate is a very important proof, in case there are some issues between you and your spouse within the future and a legal proceeding needs to be taken.

Required Docuemnts
- Age Proof for both applicants (any one of the documents listed below)
- Birth Certificate
- Passport
- 10th Marksheet / Certificate
- Address Proof for both applicants (any one of the documents listed below)
- Passport
- Aadhar Card
- Voter ID Card
- Driving License
- One postcard sized joint photo
- Passport sized photographs for both applicants (6 photographs each)
- Three witness with his/her –
- PAN Card
- Photo Address ID Proof (e.g. Passport, Voter ID card etc.)
- Passport sized Photographs (2 photos each witness)
